The Nursing Education Program at AHEC-SW is a branch of the College of Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. UAMS is Arkansas’ only institution of professional and graduate education devoted solely to the health and biological sciences. The College of Nursing was established in 1953 and the AHEC-SW Nursing Education Department was established in 1989.
